Mr. Robert Ayton grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and received his B.S. in Chemistry from Grove City College in 1999.

After college, he then went on to become an analytical chemist for Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing Research Services, Inc. (PMRS) in Horsham, Pennsylvania.  At 24 years old, he became a laboratory manager at PMRS and would lead an elite team of analytical chemists to the successful approval of four New Drug Applications by the DFA  which all greatly improved the quality of human life.

In 2005, Ayton moved to Florida to enter into education.  At Dunnellon High School, he created a chemistry and physics program that would lead Marion County Florida in Advanced Placement passing rates.  Although Dunnellon High School would have over 70% of its population in free- and reduced-lunch, Ayton would develop Advanced Placement Chemistry and Physics classes with hundreds of students.

While at Dunnellon High School, Ayton was named Marion County's Rookie Teacher of the Year, was twice a national main conference presenter for Advanced Placement Chemistry, Ocala Magazine's Top 40 People Under 40, a Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teacher (PAEMST) state finalist, Marion County Teacher of the Year Finalist, American Chemical Society's state of Florida Chemistry Teacher of the Year.  During his time at Dunnellon, Ayton also graduated summa cum laude with an overall GPA of 4.00 with a Master's of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.

In 2014, Robert Ayton undertook an exciting opportunity at Redeemer Christian School in Ocala, Florida to build a new high school science and mathematics program.  During this time, he created a middle and high school curriculum in science while writing course books for both Advanced Placement Chemistry and Chemistry Honors.  He was also selected as the Florida Association of Science Teachers (FAST) state of Florida Science Teacher of the Year.  Robert Ayton has developed highly-successful Advanced Placement science and mathematics course at Redeemer such as AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP Calculus AB.  Most recently in October of 2022, Robert was awarded the American Chemical Society Southeastern Region Chemistry Teacher of the Year.
